Experience Nature's Serenity: A Day Trip to Windermere, Lake District

Join us for a rejuvenating journey to Windermere, where we'll immerse ourselves in the tranquil beauty of nature.

Our adventure begins at 8:00 am sharp from the University of Salford, however we expect students to be there by 7:40 am. Expect a comfortable two-hour journey, arriving at Ambleside parking around 10:00 am. At 10:30 am, we'll set foot on the scenic Windermere walking route. Along the way, we'll take periodic breaks, allowing ample time to soak in the surroundings and ensure everyone is together. Our midday break at 14:00 pm provides an hour and a half to relish a delicious lunch from one of the charming local eateries. After resuming our walk at 15:30, we anticipate completing our adventure by 16:30. This gives us thirty minutes to conduct a headcount before our coach picks us up promptly at 17:00 from the National Trust Car Park in Near Sawrey, Ambleside, LA22 0LF. Our journey back is slated for two hours, aiming for a 19:00 arrival back at the University of Salford. We aim to bid farewell and send everyone on their way home by 19:30.
