Complaints

The University of Salford Students’ Union aims to provide service of a standard acceptable to all our users. If we fail to do this we want to know about it. This will enable us not only to deal with the specific problem, but also to avoid it happening again.

We have a code of conduct in place which applies to all SU members. This outlines:

  • the types of complaints which the Union will deal with
  • the time limit within which a complaint can be made
  • the process used for dealing with the complaint

All complaints should be made in writing and emailed directly to students-union@salford.ac.uk. Please ensure that you have read through the procedure document and are clear about the process. When writing your complaint, please include as many details as possible to help us to deal with it effectively.

Please note that the Students' Union also has HR policies and procedures which relate to staff rather than students.  If you have feedback or need to speak to someone about a complaint that does not relate to a student, you can contact Lauren in the first instance on l.beckett1@salford.ac.uk
