University of Salford Charity Football Match
The Peel Park Derby returns. Abra Dubravka vs Pique Blinders. A much-anticipated sequel to their first charity football match is finally upon us!
After the remarkable success of this event in 2022, OG Campus League Football teams Pique Blinders and Abra Dubravka are lacing up once again, but now with the help of the Student Union at Salford University along with many other great societies and organisations to bring you the best event to date!
Not only do you get 90 minutes of fantastic football, but there's also a raffle with prizes to be won, live music and commentary from Shock Radio, and coverage from Quays TV.
After a dominant win last time, Pique Blinders return hoping the right the wrongs of their last performance and put on a show for a returning crowd. But after drawing 1-1 with Abra Dubravka at their latest meeting in the Campus League, there's no telling who will be crowned champions.
No matter the outcome, the real winners will be the charity Mind who all this is in aid of. Mind is a mental health charity who are here to make sure no one has to face a mental health problem alone. All proceeds from this fundraising event go towards supporting them in their great work. Tickets are £5 on the door or proof of a donation of £5 or greater on the just giving page https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/thesucm to be shown at the gates.

For events taking place in Atmosphere bar or at night clubs, entry will only be permitted for those over the age of 18.
Ticketed events:
Ticket holders must be a current student at the University of Salford, or accompanied by a current student at the University of Salford who is named on the ticket.
Tickets can not be returned or refunded. Tickets may be exchanged provided the recipient of the ticket is a current student at the University of Salford. Tickets exchanged to non-students will be deemed void and entry will be refused.
Club Nights:
Student ID must be shown be shown on entry.
Alcohol purchased outside the venue may not be taken inside.
Security reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone they deem to be heavily intoxicated or under the influence of illegal substances (including laughing gas). Security also reserve the right to eject anyone they deem to be causing a disturbance, acting in a violent manor, handling illegal substance or in any other way violating the rules of the venue.
