International Café
The Students' Union, has transformed what is the International Café into weekly sessions of peace, cohesion and cultural diversity. Open to all students from both home and abroad, we provide free refreshments and snacks! We run activities from table tennis, pool, karaoke, guest speakers, workshops and much more, International Cafe is a place for you to come and relax!
At this week's International Cafe we're asking, what does Black History Month mean to Black international students?
In the UK, October is Black History Month where we celebrate and commemorate Black history, recentring histories often erased from the British education system. But what does Black history mean to Black international students who may have very different experiences in education? We will be facilitating a discussion space to hear your perspectives, in order to inform our work.

For events taking place in Atmosphere bar or at night clubs, entry will only be permitted for those over the age of 18.
Ticketed events:
Ticket holders must be a current student at the University of Salford, or accompanied by a current student at the University of Salford who is named on the ticket.
Tickets can not be returned or refunded. Tickets may be exchanged provided the recipient of the ticket is a current student at the University of Salford. Tickets exchanged to non-students will be deemed void and entry will be refused.
Club Nights:
Student ID must be shown be shown on entry.
Alcohol purchased outside the venue may not be taken inside.
Security reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone they deem to be heavily intoxicated or under the influence of illegal substances (including laughing gas). Security also reserve the right to eject anyone they deem to be causing a disturbance, acting in a violent manor, handling illegal substance or in any other way violating the rules of the venue.
