You can find all the information here and we'll be adding much more in the coming weeks, so amke sure you check back for more details.
On January the 16th 2017 the Trustee Board voted for new regulations which means that these elections, and future sabbatical officer elections, will be overseen by a committee of students "the election committee". The committee is made up of the Union President, one other sabbatical officer, one student trustee, the Union Council facilitator, one volunteer officer and one ordinary student. More details are available on the rules page of the website.
As a consequence there is a vacancy for one student member of the elections committee. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a regulatory setting and what goes on in the background to make elections happen. .The elections committee will meet regularly (every week) and decide the rules for the upcoming elections and during voting week will also decide on any complaints made against candidates.
