Volunteer Workshop Leader

Action for Conservation (AFC) is looking for passionate environmentalists to join their dynamic team of volunteer WildED workshop leaders in the North West region for this school year (2023-2024). If you are studying conservation, are an enthusiastic campaigner, or are interested in working with young people, this could be a great opportunity for you. Individuals from diverse backgrounds are also welcome in our organisation.

The WildED programme supports school/college students in delivering local environmental projects that have a positive impact on wildlife and increase their connection to nature. Volunteers help facilitate workshops and share their experiences of working/studying in the conservation sector, showing students what ‘real’ conservationists look like. Workshops are fun, rewarding, and a fantastic opportunity to showcase your experience and work with amazing young people!

If you don't currently have loads of conservation experience but you are still interested in the opportunity please don't hesitate to apply. We will be training you on the curriculum and providing you with the chance to expand on your knowledge in this area.

Full training will be provided - the next training will be online on Tuesday 30th April 2024.

If you are interested in volunteering with us, please check out our info pack and fill in our online form, and someone from Action for Conservation will get in touch with you as soon as they can!
