About Us

Whether you’re a seasoned archer or a total beginner you’ll fit right in here. We are a friendly group who enjoy shooting and socialising weekly as well as competing regularly with other universities and within our own league.

From Olympic style recurve bows to barebow shooting, and from medieval longbows to modern state of the art compound bows, all styles are welcome.

What we do:

  • Weekly archery sessions
  • Frequent socialisation
  • Compete in the North of England Archery League
  • Compete in the British university Team Champs and BUCS Indoor/ Outdoor
  • Yearly ‘Archery Tag’ social
 

Remember, you don't have to pay membership before you attend, and your first session is ALWAYS free!

Type of Membership Price Includes
Full Membership  £50 ArcheryGB Membership, Insurance, Use of club equipment.
Alumni / Staff Membership £50

All benefits of full membership with certain restrictions as stated by Union by-laws
Half Year Membership £30 ArcheryGB Membership, Insurance, Use of club equipment for second semester

We currently have 4 Archery GB coaches ranging from Level 1 – Level 2 and are looking to train more level 1 coaches.

Level 1 coaches deal on a more beginner level with freestyle and barebow.

Level 2 is much more in depth and can help any style archer improve their technique/ equipment performance.
