Your Students’ Union currently has 80+ activity groups (or ‘societies’ as you may be more familiar with them as being called!) that bring all kinds of awesome activities to the campus. And on Wednesday the 21^st and Thursday the 22^nd of September our amazing groups will all be holding a fair to show you what they are all about!

We have everything from academic groups where you can meet people studying similar pathways to your own as well as faith and culture groups that host amazing events throughout the year. We also have a number of groups for more recreational activities if you just want something to help you relax and enjoy your time at Salford.

Here’s 5 reasons why you should make sure you come along!

1. Our groups have some amazing plans for the year that include everything from hosting amazing student led conferences, building an F1 car, raising thousands of pounds for charity and celebrating wonderful cultural dates in the calendar. Do you want to be a part of that? Of course you do…

2. This year we have two activities fairs, twice the fun and twice the opportunities! Our fairs are Wednesday 21^st September in the Sports Centre from 12pm until 6pm, and Thursday 22^nd of September from 12pm until 6pm in Allerton Hall. Drop by for a while at any time that suits your busy Welcome schedule!

3. The fairs are completely free to explore for all students! And to make it even better there will be loads of freebies!
