University of Salford Students’ Union in partnership with the University of Salford have taken the decision to not host any club night events for the upcoming Fresher’s 2020.

Keeping student safety and wellbeing at the forefront of everything we do, we will adhere to social distancing guidelines and postpone the Official Salford Fresher’s Wristband for 2020.

Be vigilant, any company seen to be selling Salford or University of Salford Wristband, labelling themselves official or not is an unofficial seller and in no way associated with the University or the Students’ Union.

DO NOT BUY ANY SALFORD WRISTBANDS FOR FRESHERS 2020.

When asked, the 2020/21 Students’ Union President elect, Temi Adebayo said: during this time of uncertainty, we know mass gatherings will be prohibited for the foreseeable. Organisations charging for Fresher’s club night events that will likely not be taking place are just taking advantage of students and we want to ensure this doesn’t happen to you. Please share this message with any student you know are due to start at Salford this September.
