The candidates have been announced in this year's Sabbatical Officer elections!
An extraordinary 53 people have put themselves forward to be the future leaders of the Students' Union. In our 50th year we're delighted to still be pushing new boundaries by beating our previous highest candidate number (38 in 2015). Another record has been broken this year with seven candidates from the schools of Health Sciences and Nursing, Midwifery, Social Work and Social Sciences standing for the Health and Social Care position!
Now the candidates will recieve full training from the Union staff team and you can look out for them on campus canvassing for your votes in the coming weeks.
