For the third year running Atmosphere has achieved a Gold Best Bar None award – a Home Office supported scheme aimed at improving standards across evening licensed trade.

The assessment focuses on four key areas on how we manage Atmosphere:

• Venue Management
• Staff Training & Care
• Customer Safety & Welfare
• Customer Experience & Community

Gold is the highest award category and we’re proud to have achieved this once again as we strive to ensure our venue is managed in a way that ensures that all of our staff, guests and neighbours experience Atmosphere in the best possible way.

This year in particular awareness has been drawn to the raising incidence of spiking in late night venues; Atmosphere will once again partner with the GoodNightOut organisation to train our team in best practise, as well as continue to offer anti-spiking measures such as Spikies and StopTopps  to our guests who require them. We will also be increasing our promotion around the availability of these items.

Aside from our response to the spiking incidents, we’re particularly proud of our high scoring around staff training & care; our team are the people who keep the drinks pouring, food cooking and their welfare is seen as a priority for management – particularly as they juggle their degrees.
