Are you a champion? Now is the time to compete for Salford.

BUCS (British University College Sport) is the sport national governing body that allows university students to meet and compete against other university students in both team and individual sports. During this semester BUCS holds individual championships for a variety of sports.

These events are open to all students who want to compete against the best students in the country.

You don’t have to already be involved in our sports, teams or ‘Give Sport A Go’ to get involved but you do have to be a current registered University of Salford student.

If you feel up for the challenge get in contact. We will even cover your individual entry fee, but you will need to cover any transport and accommodation (if needed). Many of these individual entry closing dates are in January so get in fast!

BUCS individual Championships include:

  • Cross-country running
  • Boxing
  • Archery
  • Gymnastics
  • Canoe and Kayaking
  • Trampolining
  • Judo
  • Table Tennis
