Aimed at those students inetrested in finding private accommodation for Semester 1 2016/17, we'll be taking your questions on a live Twitter chat, next Thursday 10th March between 12 noon and 2pm.

If you don't have a Twitter account, be sure to drop by University House and speak with the Manchester Student homes team who will be in the foyer of University House, Peel Park campus, all day on Thursday 10 March.

Manchester Student Homes can help you find private lettings that are safe and secure and in the right place for you. They also offer invaluable housing advice on costs, what you should look out for on a house viewing and what you can expect from your landlord, making this a really good opportunity for you to ask all the questions at the forefront of your mind as you begin your house search.

If you can’t make it on Thursday 10, there is lots of information over on their website including an accommodation checklist, information on contracts on much more. For International students, they also have information on landlords and private halls providing a fair service to international students in regards to booking and contractual terms.

@UoS_Studentlife and @salfordsu will be posting a number of tweets using the hashtag #HousingTipsUoS up until Easter offering you tips on making your house hunt a success.
