24 hours to go in NUS elections

There are only 24 hours left to vote in the NUS Delegate elections. Voting closes at 12 (midday) on Thursday 20th November. Click here to vote.

There are 36 candidates running to be one of your five NUS delegates who will represent Salford students at the National Conference for the National Union of Students (NUS). Voting closes at midday on Thursday 20th November so make sure you have your say.

The conference sees over 600 students’ union come together discusses 5 topics related to students’ experiences at colleges and universities: Further Education policy, Higher Education policy, Society and Citizenship policy, Welfare policy, and Union Development policy. It is the chance for students’ unions to shape national policy and hold to account the national officers heading up each of these policy zones and the national president. Elections for these positions also happen at the conference and the delegates from Salford will be full voting members.
