Action for Humanity is a UK based charity that works in multiple different countries across Africa, Asia and Europe, including: UK, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Turkey, Palestine, Yemen, Jordan and Bangladesh. AFH was first established as Syria Relief in Manchester, UK, at the start of the Syrian conflict in 2011. Dismayed at the rapidly unfolding crisis in Syria, a group of friends of Syrian heritage came together to provide emergency humanitarian aid in the region for what was initially assumed a short-term project. However, over the last decade the charity has developed into one of the largest NGO’s in the North West of England; the largest Syria focused charity in Europe, and we are still growing to this day.
Here at Action For Humanity we have an exciting opportunity for a Programmes volunteer to join our team based in Salford, Greater Manchester.
