Salford University now has over 19,000 students, not counting staff and Lecturers.

It is our money being invested to help in the development of the wider changes taking place across the University and its campus.  But new buildings, efficient accomodation and the odd discount here and there CANNOT BE ALL we create.  From Grameen Banking www.grameen-info.org, Community Currencies www.bristolpound.org, www.brixtonpound.org, Community Supported Agriculture www.communitysupportedagriculture.org.uk and Community Energy www.communityenergy.info   the strength of our unity, collective voice and our economic impact, should also grow too.

Together with our Union and the other unions on campus, we can develop our own solutions.
