This role is responsible for organising trips for sports clubs, whether it’s for a competition, a social or to just take part in their sport somewhere else in the country.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Complete the trip form and submit to the Students' Union two weeks before your trip
  2. Contact the Info Point Assistant to rent the Union minibus or organise transport
  3. Ensure the club have sufficient first aid trained personnel attending the trip
  4. Make sure that if members drive they have registered their car with the Union (for insurance purposes)
  5. Fill out the appropriate risk assessment for your trip
  6. Booking tickets or buying equipment which will be needed on the trip
  7. Always attaining multiple quotes to ensure the club receives the best price for its activity
