We know that your courses keeps you busy and can be challenging, so our academic societies are here to help you along. They consistently go the extra mile by putting on workshops, lectures, bringing in external speakers, all while keeping in close contact with their course schools.
Academic societies enjoy support from their schools, and over the past year have done activities ranging from organising large scale national conferences, compteting in national competitions and rasing money for charitable causes.
If you want to start your own academic society, you can get started here. Each school also has an elected Students' Union sabbatical officer aligned to them, so if you want something to change or have an issue you want to raise, they're always available for a chat.
