This role is instrumental to our work in supporting and representing students at the University of Salford. The Advice Centre is a busy, professional service that delivers independent, confidential and non-directive advice to our student members. We are seeking an enthusiastic, empathetic and solution-focused individual to fill this full time post (flexible working will be considered). The role needs someone who is focused on empowering individual students through traditional casework, but is also adept at identifying and influencing stakeholders to improve experiences for the wider student population. The Advice Centre deals primarily with academic related casework, but we are seeking an individual with expertise in at least one of the following areas: student finance/ funding; mental health and wellbeing; welfare rights and benefits; housing.
