Description

The Wildlife Society welcomes students from all backgrounds who share an interest and appreciation for wildlife!

We’ll be working alongside Salford Rangers, the Salford Sustainability team and other national wildlife conservation charities to bring you workshops, talks from professionals, survey opportunities and exciting trips! You’ll get the chance to see an array of wildlife including invertebrates, small mammals, reptiles and plants!

We also hope to hold regular meet-ups and socials…think crazy golf, film nights, clubbing, hiking trips and more!

Interested in photography? Within the society there’s a keen interest by photographers of all levels. You can develop your skills and share any photographs that you take via our photograph of the month competition that is open to anyone.

The society is also a great place to build professional development. We aim to provide as much training and practical experience as possible to give you skills to put on your CV and make you stand out when applying for jobs!

Please follow us on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter to keep updated on our latest events!

If you have any questions we can also be contacted by email: ussuwild@gmail.com

We’re excited to announce that each member will receive a FREE Field Studies Council guide when they sign up! These waterproof, illustrated guides are great for improving species identification skills in the field!
