Welcome to the African Caribbean Society of the University of Salford!

 

ACS is a platform for African and Caribbean students at Salford and other Manchester universities to come together, educate their peers and encourage cultural appreciation through a variety of events.

 

ACS exists for all races & ethnicities. Our aim is to invoke appreciation for and enlighten those amongst the student population and wider community, about the rich heritage of African and Caribbean nations in an informative but stimulating way for all to share.

You do not have to be of African or Caribbean decent to be an ACS member. If you have a love for African-Caribbean culture you are more than welcome to join!

 

 

ACS is headed up by an executive committee comprising a wide range of students from all faculties, members are the foundation of the ACS.

 

 

Remember, you don't have to pay membership before you attend, and your first session is ALWAYS free!

Full Membership £5.00 Access to all events, workshops, and seminars.
Alumni/Staff £5.00 All the benefits of the full memebrship.*

*Staff and alumni do not hold the same rights as regular members of the Society. For more details on this please contact the Society committee or the Student Opportunities department.
