How to Nominate Yourself

If you’ve been inspired by the actions of the previous student officers and believe you can continue to represent your student community, then why not try it for yourself?

It’s really easy to nominate yourself for one of the available positions.

All you have to do is complete the nomination form by Midday on Thursday the 20th of February. The form can be accessed here (you will need to be logged into our website to complete this).

Once you have completed and submitted this, it will come through to us for approval.

It's as easy as that and gives you time to plan your winning election campaign!

Please note: Only fully completed nomination forms will be accepted.

Preferendum:

In November, you voted in the Students’ Union Preferendum which gave all students at Salford the ability to vote on what they thought should be the Union’s focus for the next few years. The issues were all important but the student community at Salford voted for Excellent Teaching as their top priority. Therefore, this year all candidates running in the Students’ Union election must include how they intend on honoring this election result in their manifesto. So, start thinking; what does excellent teaching mean to you and what do you think you can do to improve the academic experience of your student body?
