Liberation is the seeking of equal status or just treatment before or on behalf of any group believed to be discriminated against.

Our Liberation campaigns exists to represent, extend and defend the rights of students who self define as BME, Disabled, LGBT+ or Women.

Each year you elect a Liberations Officer to take a lead on policy and campaigning in the area. We also send delegates to represent Salford at the NUS liberation conferences. If you would like to represent Salford you can find out more on our liberation conferences page.
