If you have ever played Dungeons and Dragons then you have probably heard of Critical Role, and if you haven’t don’t worry you are about to. Critical Role is one of the biggest online D&D games where a group of Voice Actors livestream their games of Dungeons and Dragons. The show has done so well that this week the D&D creators Wizards of the Coast themselves have released an officially licensed Dungeons and Dragons adventure written by Critical Role DM Matthew Mercer and featuring their world of Exandria.

But that’s not all, thanks to Roll20, an online D&D platform Critical Role and Wizards of the Coast have teamed up to publish one of the adventures from the book for FREE online for you to play at home. Whether you are an experienced player, or you’ve never even considered playing a tabletop role playing game all you need is a group and an internet connection to get started.

On a more serious note Dungeons and Dragons and other role playing games have been used around the world for the benefit of peoples mental health and wellbeing, they can help build your confidence and perhaps most importantly at the moment provide a well needed escape from the real world.
