Student Reps

Representation and Support

Your Students' Union is here to represent you and support you through every step of your Univeristy expierience. We work with the University and Salford Student Village to ensure everyone's student life is the best it possibly can be, and that the opinion of students is always considered when decisions are being made. We're also here to support and advise you should you need it at any point throughout your time at Salford.

Meet Your Sabbs

Your Students' Union is led by a team of Sabbatical Officers, made up of the President and 4 Officers, one of which will be dedicated to your school. The Sabbatical Officers are elected each year by students to act as the top student representatives to the University, and to shape the direction of the SU for the year.

Student Reps

Student Reps

Every level of study (year group) on every course has a student who volunteers to represent the views of their course mates to the University. These student representatives feedback to the course leaders on how students feel the course is going and issues that have come up. Each school also has a school rep, who feeds back to the school on any issues affecting multiple courses within the school.

Denizen

As well as representatives for your course, we also have 'Denizen' reps in every Salford Student Village residence. They are there to help you if you ever feel like you need a bit more support during your time living in student accommodation. They can help you find any support services you require, as well as offering a friendly ear should you need it and encouraging participation in campus activities. They also meet regularly with CLV (the accomodation provider) to raise any issues that residents are having.
