Together with the University we’re holding a range of events which will help you settle in and make friends before lectures start.

Current students are welcome too! If you missed some of the things you planned to do in September, this is another chance to get involved.

Your Students' Union can seriously improve your time at Salford, as well as bringing benefits when you graduate. We fight for your interests at the University, offer professional advice and support, provide plenty of exciting opportunities to socialise and make friends, as well as develop valuable skills and experience you can take advantage of when you leave.

Wednesday 25 January

Welcome to Salford
Lady Hale G14

This first event will introduce you to the Students' Union and the University and you'll meet other students starting here this month.  You'll hear from the students who lead your Union just how we can ensure you have the best experience at Salford.

Come along to this session for an overview of the Welcome events and to find out a bit more about living and studying in Salford.

Join your Students' Union at the Trafford Centre!

There is loads to do at this vast shopping and entertainment complex, including ten pin bowling, Laser Quest and indoor golf. For a more relaxed evening you can browse at over 200 stores or dine in one of the 60 restaurants, bars and cafes.

International Society Quiz
Bar Yours, University House
Time to make use of that brain power! The international quiz is always really good fun, a brilliant chance to meet other people and relax at the end of the week.  It will be held in the Union's Bar Yours.

Student Activities Roadshow
The Student Activities Roadshow will be making its way round campus all week! Find out all about the activities on offer while you study at Salford - a great way to make friends, develop new skills and make the most of your student experience. 

Remember, you can get involved in Student Activities at any time of the year.
