What is the Extra Card?
NUS Extra is a premium discount card, exclusively for students. The card enables you to participate in democratic activities, shows membership of the Students' Union and offers a huge amount of great discounts in shops on the high street and online. Discounters include Amazon, Game, Pizza Hut, Superdrug, Bench, Apple, Warehouse, Cross Country Trains, Play.com, JJB Sports, Ben Sherman and Orange, to name but a few. All of this for just £11.
NUS Extra is valid between 04 August 2011 and 31 August 2012, so there’s loads of time to save cash with your card.
Who is eligible for an NUS extra card?
Current students who are studying at NUS-affiliated organisations are eligible for an NUS extra card, along with other select organisations as listed on the NUS website when you come to purchase your card. You can either buy direct from here, and then collect your card from your students’ union, or go down to your union and ask to purchase the card.
Cards can be ordered online at the NUS Extra site: http://www.nus.org.uk/en/NUS-Extra and then picked up from the General Office in University House or the Allerton Building shop or Adelphi Building shop.
How do I buy an NUS extra card?
Buying an NUS extra card is easy and you can do it all online. All you need is your debit/credit card and a photo to buy online. Click here to buy yours now.
If you order yours at General Office in University House you can choose to have your card delivered to your home address, as well as General Office or the Adelphi or Allerton shops.
When and where will it be delivered?
NUS extra cards take ten to 15 days to be delivered and you can choose where you pick yours up from.
If you order online you can have your card delivered to General Office in University House or the Allerton Building shop or Adelphi Building shop.
Order your card at General Office in University House and you'll also be able to have your card delivered to your home address.
What is an ISIC card?
If you are an international student or frequently travel abroad there is an option to integrate the NUS Extra with the International Student Identity Card (ISIC). So if you are going abroad you will also be able to access thousands of travel and additional discounts. ISIC is available for an extra £1.99 and you can do this through the NUS website also here.
