Club Sport Coordinator

Full Time - £20,046 per annum

We are currently looking to fill the roles of the Club Sport Coordinator position. This is a full time position that will be responsible for the support and development of over 30 student led sports clubs. The role will provide day to day advice and support for student sport groups, provide committee training, event support and will be responsible for specific Union led initiatives such as Varsity and Annual Awards. The successful candidate should have enthusiasm and drive, be well organised and a team player.

This post is a full time, permanent contract, looking to start as soon as possible.

Head of Finance

Full Time - Circa £35,000 per annum

We are currently looking to fill the role of Head of Finance reporting directly to the CEO.

Working as part of the management team this role is vital to ensuring the provision of comprehensive financial and management accounting, as well as business reporting across the organisation. We want someone who with strong management and financial accounting skills, who is an excellent communicator and who has the vision to continually develop systems, processes and practices for the organisation  as well as a commitment to delivering a high quality service.

You will manage a small team, however it is essential that you are prepared to be a "hands-on" and willing to get involved in the day to day accounting for the organisation.

The University of Salford Students’ Union represents and provides services for a diverse body of over 18,500 students. We support students beyond their degree helping them to enjoy their time at University and build their skills and experience. We provide services such as representation, campaigning, activities, sport, events and advice as well as a food and bar outlet.

We are looking for people to join our Trustee Board and support our elected officers, student trustees and senior managers to steer the work of the Union. This is a voluntary role and we want people who are dynamic, committed and driven to help us to succeed. If you have a background in finance, law, business management, HR, social enterprise and the charity sector then we would love to hear from you.
