Why did you run for Sabbatical Officer?
I was told by many people that I would make a good Sabbatical Officer so I give it a lot of thought and extensive chat amongst family and friends. In the end, I let Salford students decide whether I was suitable for the role.
What do you do when you’re not working at the Union?
I like being creative so I enjoy anything from writing a poem, making a film or drawing a picture. I also enjoy being active too. I like walking, running and dancing. I recently ran home in the rain and it was really fun.
What do you want to do after this year?
Well, that’s a big question. Will I run again next year? I am still not sure. However, ultimately I want to work in media or in a creative environment as it is what I enjoy most.
What big plans do you have for the Union?
Yes, the plans must be big as we have a very challenging year ahead and the University are really going to have to pull their socks up. The Student Union will need to work more closely with students and empower them to make positive changes to student life themselves. We also now have the Bill of Student Rights to kick into action this year, which we need to take full advantage of.
What is your favourite food?
I absolutely love cereal. If I could I would have it for breakfast lunch and tea I would. However, there are more vital nutrients a growing, busy girls needs. I also love gherkins.
What would you do with one million pounds?
I would go travelling and maybe buy a posh villa abroad. I’d give a generous amount to charity with one of those massive cheques. That would be fun.
What is your favourite thing about the University of Salford?
What is your favourite thing about the University of Salford?
My favourite thing about Salford University is the people. I have met a huge range of amazing people in my time here and am keen to meet more so don’t be shy.
