Have you come up with a great idea but need a helping hand to develop it? Our Projects Fund may be the answer.

Who can apply?
Any student or student activity group can apply to this fund to support a project which will enhance students’ lives. Unfortunately, we cannot support projects which solely benefit one individual student.

What should I apply for?
 Funding for the running of student events
 Funding for the running community based projects

What should not be applied for?
 Costs for a project which only benefits an individual
 Funding for the advancement of religion or political views

Advice for applicants
 Project proposals should demonstrate how they will make a tangible difference to the student experience at University of Salford
 We are unlikely to fund projects which cannot demonstrate how they will make a difference
 We also look for evidence that projects engage directly and intensively with students, such as projects where students are involved in leading the organisation and in key decision making processes
 We particularly look for projects that are innovative in their approach
