Student Activities at Salford are changing - the Activities Development Unit is now up and running! Our mission is to ensure that there are a wide range of activities you can get involved in while you’re studying here, whatever your time commitments or abilities.
Getting involved in Student Activities is a great way to meet others, try something new or keep up a hobby or interest. There’s a whole host of other advantages too – you can build confidence, switch off from study, keep fit, learn and feel like you’re really part of the student community here at Salford.
There are a million and one activities to try here. Our clubs cater for a variety of sporting abilities and we offer everything from snow sports to rowing to football. If sport isn’t your thing, there are societies covering interests including literature, performing arts, rock music and charity work. There are also a number of religious and international societies, so you can meet people with similar backgrounds or beliefs. Click here for our list of student activity groups (clubs and societies).
Don’t have time for a student activity group? Then just Give It A Go, by turning up to one of our no commitment activity sessions.
Just have a look through our area of the website to find out more, or contact us.
