Shock Radio has been doing their marathon broadcast this weekend attempting to break the world record for the longest broadcast. If successful, they will take over the record, currently held by a station in Dubai, and receive honors from the Guinness Book of Records! It will be a massive achievement for the country, let alone for our very own union activity group!

As well as listening in, you can support them via Twitter with hashtag #‎crikeyitsalongone, or pop along to the old bar in Adelphi building and say hello to show your support!

Currently, they have been awake for 70 hours and well on their way to breaking the record for 85 hours - with George Willis and Andy Cox now broadcasting since Friday morning. They expect to finish up at 10pm tonight (Monday).
