Students’ celebrate staff excellence at Salford

Last Thursday 200 students’ and staff members came together in Atmosphere Kitchen and Bar to celebrate the achievements of staff and student representatives in the students’ unions fifth annual Teaching Awards ceremony.

The Salford Teaching Awards are the chance for students to recognise excellent teaching and support from staff members at Salford. Over 150 staff members were nominated by over 400 students in 11 different categories. The nominated staff members were whittled down to a shortlist of three for each category by a panel of student representatives. The winners were announced in an evening of celebration of the excellent students judged that they were receiving.

It was the Union’s privilege to be able to recognise such excellent staff and students’ who work tirelessly to make Salford the excellent environment that it can be.
