Congratulations to the students of Shock Radio who last night took home prizes from the prestigous Student Radio Association Awards.

They took home awards for: 

• Best Marketing and Station Sound
• Best Male Host (Bronze) - Louis Chadwick

Orry Verducci, Dave Dullage, George Willis, Gareth Reid and Louis Chadwick travelled to London to attend the awards ceremony, meeting industry members and BBC and Commercial Radio DJs as well as collecting their well-deserved recognition. Amongst other achievements, this year they broke the Guiness Book of Records World Record for the longest continous music show broadcast by a team, raising over £200,000 for The Christie charity along the way.
