Woo! Graduation! Congratulations to you for all of your hard work. We wanted to let you know about our arrangements for photography at the ceremonies.

You won’t be able to use your own cameras or phones during the ceremonies, so please be aware that Tempest will be there on the day, to capture your very special moment.

We have an exclusive contract with Tempest, ensuring that not only will you look amazing, but that your photo money also comes back into the Union, helping us enrich students’ lives.

You should however, definitely take lots of photos outside The Lowry, and tag us or our Sabbs in it either on Facebook or Twitter @salfordsu! We want to see you fabulous Grads looking good!

Please be aware of possible rival photography suppliers that operate in the Lowry Outlet Mall. Neither we nor the University can be held responsible for photographs taken by any other individuals or companies who operate in the area. We have no other relationships with other companies, so please be careful of fraudulent behaviour.

Staff from Tempest will be identifiable by their yellow ties and scarves. Their ‘Capture the Moment’ display will be in The Lowry foyer area, adjacent to the Graduation Information Desk.

Photographs will be available as formal studio portraits for individuals and small groups (up to 7), as well as a ‘Capture the Moment’ on stage shaking hands with the presiding officer.

To order your photographs on the day, make your way to Tempest’s photographic studios located during Graduation week in the Lowry Theatre.
