Neil Withnell a lecturer within the School of Nursing, Midwifery, Social Work and Social Sciences has been shortlisted in this year’s Student Nursing Times Awards.

When the Students’ Union spoke with Neil he said “I was encouraged to apply for this by many students, and I’m extremely proud that students feel that I would be eligible for an award of this nature. I thoroughly enjoy my role and am delighted to be shortlisted.”

Mishal Saeed, Students’ Union President added “We would like to congratulate Neil on being shortlisted for Student Nursing Times Awards. Neil is an outstanding Lecturer and his previous nominations and successes within our Teaching Awards have shown this.”
