We regret to announce that Usman Ali, Health and Social Care Officer, has decided to leave his position as a Sabbatical Officer and Trustee of the Union with immediate effect to focus on studying for his PhD.

The Union is thankful to Usman for his work at the Union during the summer helping prepare for Welcome Week and the exciting programme of events we have for the forthcoming academic year.

The Sabbatical Officers will between them share the workload of the Health and Social Care Officer role. If you need to contact a Sabbatical Officer in relation to the Health and Social Care schools, please email students-union@salford.ac.uk and your query will be directed to the appropriate person.

The Union is currently exploring the democratic opportunities for filling this vacancy and more details will be released shortly.
